Job Title: Sr. QA Consultant

Job Description:
Summarized Job Description: Work closely with business users for requirement gathering. Perform and lead testing effort for new functionality/enhancements. Document and facilitate communication and troubleshooting of issues, bugs, changes and validate and close-out all issues prior to test sign-off. Develop process to ensure the highest level of quality assurance possible. All of the above duties will be performed using a wide variety of tools but most importantly Calypso, HP ALM, and JIRA.

Detailed Job Description:

  • Able to create test scenarios and detailed test cases from the requirements/spec documents;
  • Define testing estimates in order to allocate work to QA testers;
  • Prioritize testing items as per business criticality and impact;
  • Performs peer review of the work done by the QA testers and provide valuable feedback;
  • Collaborate with other QA staff to accomplish all daily QA tasks on-time with a high level of quality;
  • Investigate procedures, workflows, and software to keep our processes up to date;
  • Mentor QA team members and share expertise;
  • Provides regular updates to QA Manager with respect to the test status, defects, risks;
  • Maintain open communication with internal teams;
  • Assist QA Manager in planning and documenting the testing effort via test plans and test strategy;
  • Assist business users in user acceptance testing;
  • Provide inputs to QA Manager for system integration, regression, and automation testing;
  • Maintains end to end traceability using test management tool;
  • Assists QA Manager in collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations;
  • Should be able to represent QA in daily standups with development/business teams.

Job Location: Work location is New Brunswick, NJ and various and unanticipated client locations in US which may require relocation.
